About the project

Making digital safety a habit for every student in Kerala

Online fraud now reaches students through phones, games, social media and messages from people they trust. Awareness has not kept pace with the risk.

DigiSafe Keralam closes that gap with short, practical lessons built from real scam patterns. Students learn to pause, verify and act, and a simulated scammer shows exactly how pressure and deception work so that they can recognise it when it matters.

The programme is designed and developed by the Social Engagement Centre with a student team at Digital University Kerala, and begins with schools and colleges across the state.
